How long have you been training dogs?
We have been professionally training dogs for several years, starting with our own pack and then helping friends, family, and local rescues. The positive feedback we received inspired us to pursue formal education and hands-on experience under other respected balanced dog trainers.
Since 2015, Pack On Track Dog Training has proudly served Sachse, Wylie, Murphy, Rowlett, and the surrounding North Texas areas, helping hundreds of dogs and their owners build calm, confident, and obedient relationships.
We continue to grow each year by attending workshops, seminars, and dog training conferences to stay current on the most effective and humane training methods.
What makes Pack On Track different from other dog trainers?
One of my biggest focuses as a professional dog trainer is educating and empowering owners. True dog training success doesn’t end when your dog listens to me… it happens when you feel confident leading your dog at home.
Our mission is to help owners understand the why behind their dog’s behavior and to become effective, compassionate leaders. By the end of your training program, you’ll feel equipped with the same tools and techniques that I use every day. At Pack On Track Dog Training, we don’t just train dogs, we coach people to train their own dogs successfully.
What types of training tools do you use?
After working with hundreds of dogs across different breeds and behavior issues, we’ve learned that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to training.
We utilize a variety of balanced training tools, including Slip Leads, Martingales, Prong Collars, E-Collars, and Head Haltis, depending on each dog’s individual needs. Our focus is always on clear communication and proper use, teaching owners how to apply gentle pressure and release techniques that guide their dog effectively and humanely.
Our goal is not just obedience, it’s creating calm, reliable, and respectful dogs through trust, structure, and consistency.
Can you summarize your training philosophy?
Dogs are naturally social, pack-oriented animals that seek structure and leadership. When they lack clear boundaries or understanding of their role within the family, unwanted behaviors often follow.
Our training philosophy is built around three essential needs: Exercise, Discipline, and Affection in that order.
Many owners unintentionally flip that order, offering affection first and discipline only out of frustration. At Pack On Track Dog Training, we teach you how to restore balance by addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs in the right sequence.
This creates a calmer, happier, and more balanced dog and a more peaceful home.
What’s the secret to dog training success?
While some behaviors may have genetic roots, most challenges we see are environmental, shaped by our daily routines and reactions. A dog’s behavior often mirrors our own.
The real secret to training success is changing how we, as owners, lead and communicate. When we provide clear, consistent guidance, our dogs naturally respond with better focus and respect.
At Pack On Track Dog Training, we help you develop the mindset and habits needed to create lasting results. Because lasting change doesn’t just happen to your dog, it starts with you.
